IRELAND WILL ALSO INVESTIGATE FACEBOOK DATA LEAK

Ireland has started an investigation into the leakage of personal data of India's 61 million and 53.3 crore Facebook users. The Data Protection Commission did not accept Facebook's argument, stating that the data belonged to 2019.
The commission will look at how the data leaked and what data was misused or could happen. According to the commissioner Graham Doyle, Facebook's claims will go to trial. Misuse of leaked data is possible. Therefore, it is not right to dismiss the threats as old data.

  • The European Union also Effect :-

The Dublin-based Commission of Inquiry is an important part of the data protection regulator of the European Union. It is likely that this investigation will have an impact on the entire union. Experts believe that strict rules for deleting data over a fixed period of time may apply to the server.
