Instant messaging application WhatsApp is now testing a new feature with the help of which you will be able to mute a video before sending it to someone. WhatsApp has released this new feature for its beta user. In such a situation, this feature will also be available to the common people soon. This feature can be seen on Android beta version 2.21.3.13 of WhatsApp.
After the new update, users will be able to turn of (mute) the audio of any user before sending any video to them. During this time there will also be an option to edit the video. For example, you will be able to add text or emoji etc. to the video. This information is obtained from the screenshot of the beta version.
- TESTING IS GOING ON FROM LAST YEAR :-
WhatsApp has been working on the video mute feature since last year. It was tested on the beta version of the iPhone in November last year. After that it is now being done on Android. After the new update comes, you will be able to edit the video before sending it on WhatsApp and eliminate the sound in it. Simply put, you will be able to mute a video before sending it to someone. This feature can also be used in WhatsApp status.
WABetaInfo has shared a screenshot giving information about it, showing an icon of the speaker. While sending the video muted, although this feature is currently on beta version only. This feature is already in Telegram.
