Instant messaging app Telegram has benefited the most after the privacy of WhatsApp. In the last one year Telegram has also added a lot of new features. Now a feature is coming in Telegram which is being used most in the Corona era. Yes, Telegram is going to have a group video calling feature soon.
This information has been given by Telegram CEO Pavel Durov himself. He has said in a statement that the first feature of the group video calling will be in iOS. Group video calling update in Telegram will be released next month. Let us know that the plan to launch the group video calling feature was in 2020 but for some reason it could not be done.
Durov has given information about the upcoming feature group video call on his Telegram channel. He wrote on his Telegram channel that video calls will get features such as screen sharing, encryption, noise cancellation, desktop and tablet support, video conferencing tools, telegram level UI as per today's requirement.
Telegram is already providing end to end encryption for private video calls and now support of this encryption is also likely to be found in group video calls. Telegram has benefited greatly from work from home in the Corona era.
Let us know that in the year 2018, the number of users of Telegram was 200 million which reached 400 million in April 2020. After this, Telegram also benefited from the new privacy policy of WhatsApp in 2021.
